POSITION:     Substitute School Nurse 2025-2026 School Year

 

LOCATION:     District Wide

  

SALARY:         Based on the current Certificated Salary Schedule

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


• Current Registered Nurse with the State of Washington.


• Current E.S.A. certificate or ability to obtain.


• Bachelor's Degree or higher.


• Wiillingness to work collaboratively with building and district staff.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual/Biliterate in English/Spanish.


• E.S.A. Certificate.


• Two years experience in public health nursing, preferably within a school district. 

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability and willingness to participate in required trainings and professional development opportunities.


• Ability to develop a rapport and communicate well with students, parents and staff. 


• Skilled in working independently and on own inititative with several interruptions.


• Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures.

  Ability to work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality.
