Job Title: Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Data Analyst



  • Exemption Status/Test: Exempt


Reports to:  Teacher Incentive Allotment Regional Lead/Associate Director of Federal Programs & Leadership                                    Pay Grade: P3


Department: Federal Programs                  


Status: Full-time


 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)

  • Master’s degree (preferred)


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


The TIA Data Analyst will collaborate with the TIA Regional Lead to advance Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) initiatives across districts. This role strategically blends assessment design and data analysis to achieve two primary goals: accurately measure student growth and ensure the effectiveness of local designation systems.


The Analyst is key in working with district and campus leadership to refine practices, guarantee the precision of student growth measurements, and interpret TIA data.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Guide to districts regarding the quality and accuracy of Teacher Incentive Allotment data.

  • Conduct data needs assessments with districts and develop protocols for data integration/management.

  • Assist campuses and districts with documentation, data collection/management, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with the TIA Regional Lead in the development and refinement of student growth assessments, including third-party measures, and support the organization and use of assessment platforms. 

  • Assist districts in compiling and submitting TIA data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with state requirements, and support continuous improvement through data validation and system alignment analysis.

  • Analyze district assessment data (e.g., CBAs, pre/post tests, student learning objectives, value-added measure, portfolios, benchmarks) - to inform instruction, evaluate program effectiveness, and guide improvement efforts.  

  • Collaborate with the ESC Accountability team.

  • Develop and facilitate in-person and online training for campus and district audiences.

  • Develop timelines and process manuals for project implementation.

  • Support districts in aligning systems for TIA and incorporate other initiatives the district is engaged in..

  • Maintain strong working relationships with district leadership and ESC departments.  

  • Attend all professional development and ensure compliance with TEA and ESC guidelines.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the TIA Regional Lead and/or Associate Director of Federal Programs and Leadership.
