We are seeking a results-driven Operations Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee OSP construction projects, track project milestones, resolve roadblocks, and support field teams to ensure successful delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, requiring strong project management experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
We are seeking a results-driven Operations Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee OSP construction projects, track project milestones, resolve roadblocks, and support field teams to ensure successful delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, requiring strong project management experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the company’s end-to-end construction model (leverage the company’s processes, systems, approach, and tracking) to complete projects on time.
- Track/resolve any project roadblocks (permits, materials, redesign/changes, locates, and crew issues - In House/Subcontractors).
- Work with Field Directors/OPMs to have the resources necessary to support customer build programs;
- Support the company’s construction team with their FTTH Builds (MSO/LEC) in the market areas.
- Manage the construction work for both the build (By Client By Project by Milestones - Engineering through Construction) and the invoicing (gigs, redline, invoice submission, and invoice remittance).
- Work with the Director, the OPMs, the PMO Manager, and others to develop and implement the Build Plans of Record (PORs) for the customers the company supports in the region.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1-2 years of overall Telecommunications Experience (preferably);
- At least 1-2 years of Project Management Experience.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling and tracking;
- Proficiency in MS Suite, Smartsheet, Google docs;
- Strong English language communication and writing skills;
- Ability to put together strategies to resolve roadblocks and to execute organizational initiatives and plans.
- Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with others to deliver projects on time and per technical standards.
- Preferred experience with FTTH / FTTX projects and familiarity with tools such as ArcGIS and/or IQGEO.
Work schedule:
Monday - Friday from 15:00 till 23:00
