Job Description

The Service Coordinator is responsible for providing support to current customers through clear communication and high-level problem solving and troubleshooting for industrial machinery and equipment. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to incoming calls from customers and service technicians for electrical and/or mechanical service issues (includes some evenings, weekends, and holidays). 
  • Assist with the scheduling of upcoming machinery installations and service calls.
  • Travel, on occasion, to assist with evaluation and installation of machinery and/or troubleshoot problems in the field.
  • Partner with Engineering Department to create cohesive solutions for various customer issues.
  • Assist the Parts Department with technical issues as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical disciplines, machinery troubleshooting, and installation best practices.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions or procedures.
  • Strong understanding of PLC based machinery controls and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Technical knowledge of corrugated parts and equipment preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Proficient in the use of various computer applications, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
