POSITION SUMMARY:
Senior Post Closer - We're looking for a meticulous and proactive professional to review final documents for precision and completeness. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies, flagging necessary corrections to ensure compliance and accuracy. A detail-oriented and proactive agent who can manage and monitor our shared email inboxes. The ideal candidate will ensure timely responses, accurate routing of queries, and prompt resolution of issues. This role is critical to maintaining smooth communication and delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review closing documents thoroughly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with investor requirements, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all relevant policies, procedures, regulatory guidelines, and investor expectations.
Accurately update all required data in the system and maintain clear, audit‑ready documentation for reporting and compliance.
Identify and escalate any compliance concerns, guideline deviations, or potential risks in a timely manner.
Utilize Excel and other tracking tools effectively for monitoring workflow, reporting, and maintaining process transparency.
Monitor designated email/mailboxes throughout the day to ensure timely attention to incoming queries and requests.
Prioritize, categorize, and respond to emails based on urgency, routing them to the appropriate teams or stakeholders when necessary.
Maintain a detailed log of incoming queries and track progress to ensure timely resolution and customer/client satisfaction.
Follow up on pending issues proactively to drive closure and support smooth loan closing and delivery processes.
Draft clear, concise, and professional email responses in alignment with company standards and communication guidelines.
Identify recurring patterns, issues, or process gaps and escalate them to management for long‑term resolution or improvement.
Engage with internal teams, external vendors, custodians, and other stakeholders to gather required information and ensure accurate, timely responses.
Ensure mailbox hygiene by organizing, tagging, and archiving messages appropriately for efficient workflow management.
Address conditions raised by Underwriters or Investors promptly and ensure timely delivery of accurate documents to custodians, resolving any exceptions as needed.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to obtain required documentation and support smooth, timely loan delivery.
Adapt quickly to process updates, system changes, and business requirements while maintaining high productivity in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment.
Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate information exchange and issue resolution.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 15 years of formal education
Proven experience in Post-closing functions or similar operational roles.
US Mortgage experience strongly preferred.

Technical Proficiency
Proficient in workflow tools, reporting platforms, and loan origination systems (e.g., Encompass).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Comfortable using communication and collaboration platforms such as Outlook and Teams.
