Job Description
The opportunity:
  • Teaching as Lecturer for bachelor/Master degree students and supervising Labs
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
  • Conducting introductory and/or in-depth courses in the fields of Electronics Engineering and Robotics for Bachelor's degree programs, all taught in English.
    1. Practical professional experience in conducting laboratory sessions for undergraduate students, including hardware- and software-based experiments.
    2. Teaching experience in microprocessors and microcontrollers, including CPU architecture, assembly language fundamentals, and system-level design concepts using platforms such as 8086, PIC24H, and AVR AT-mega.
  • Teaching and supporting laboratory courses related to embedded systems, electronics, and robotic systems.
    1. Supervising practical experiments involving sensor integration, microcontroller programming, and hardware interfacing.
    2. Guiding students in the development and testing of small-scale robotic and embedded system prototypes, including programming in C, embedded C, and assembly language.
  • Advising and supervising students in course projects, laboratory work, and technical assignments.
    1. Supporting students in problem-solving, system design, and implementation of engineering solutions.
    2. Providing academic mentoring for project work, programming tasks and technical development.
  • Contributing to the development of teaching materials and laboratory exercises.
    1. Preparing lecture content, tutorials, and practical demonstrations related to robotics microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
    2. Supporting the continuous improvement of course structure and lab activities.
  • Administering examinations and evaluating student performance.
  • Ability to write research Proposals for funding and strong Publication record is a must.
 
  • Completed relevant master’s university studies (e.g. Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronic, Power Engineering or similar) 
  • Teaching and training experience in the English language
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Organizational skills and commitment
  • Living in Germany and willing to relocate to Berlin or Potsdam
