Summary of the Position:

The Maintenance Electrician III is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and PLC equipment. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• ·         Works on new installations of all power, light, motors, transformers, control panels, relays, and electronic equipment. Utilize Express Maintenance (CMMS) to document repairs and/or installations. 
• ·         Performs technical and electrical repairs. 
• ·         Performs all other duties as assigned. 
• ·         Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed. 
• ·         Reads and follows electrical schematics for high voltage, low voltage, and various control circuits. 
• ·         Completes special projects as needed.  

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent required. 

·         Five or more years of experience as a maintenance electrician required. 

·         Knowledge of electric and control circuits. 

·         Knowledge of electrical components and wiring. 

·         Knowledge of drives and PLC controls. 

·         Strong mechanical skills.

·         Ability to work on elevated platforms.
