As part of our Queenstown based team, the Reservations Agents primary role is to sell and manage the hotel’s accommodation, restaurant, and activity inventory by maximizing occupancy and revenue. It is therefore vital that you provide both guests and the hotel information systems with timely and accurate data.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic reservations superstar to join our reservations team in this diverse and exciting role.

What you will be doing

  • Focusing on the guest experience and creating great first impressions. Responding to accommodation and activity enquiries by email, phone, and agent website portals promptly, accurately and in a professional manner
  • Offering knowledge and insight of the hotel’s products and services as well as a general knowledge of the area and relevant tourist information
  • Utilising the hotel’s reservation systems daily with a consistently high level of accuracy
  • Handling sensitive information such as confidential agent rates and credit cards details with care

What you will bring to the role

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced reservations or call-centre environment, of 6 months of more is preferred
  • Confidence in using technology and data entry.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management.
  • A guest focused, personable, confident, and collaborative approach.
  • The ability to work with a small, motivated team, as well as independently.
  • An ability to quickly learn new products, services, and systems.
  • Fluent in English is essential and dual language would be desirable
