Job Description

“Substance Abuse Program Plan position and subject to random drug/alcohol testing.”

Position Overview

  • Under general supervision responsible for coordinating the scheduling of training for DUF6 project personnel and assisting the training department with maintaining and managing the training database and training records. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Functional:

  • Develops, maintains, and coordinates a site training schedule
  • Generates weekly and monthly reports on overdue training
  • Controls the naming and numbering of newly-developed training materials
  • Inputs and verifies accuracy of data in the training database to record training completion, qualification, and/or certification
  • Ensures training course materials are available for training instructors
  • Works with other site counterpart to ensure consistency between the two sites in the area of training
  • Provides guidance to DUF6 project personnel on properly accessing and utilizing training database
  • Maintains list of qualified instructors
  • Prepares and publishes computer-based training materials on the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Formulates and tracks management briefings
  • Notifies employees/managers/supervisors of upcoming deadlines for training essential to position, job function, or site access
  • Interfaces with other departments to coordinate training for new employees, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Serves as Training Coordinator for Lexington Office and site U.S. Department of Energy representatives

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential
