Power Generation Integration Manager



Job Description



Department: Manufacturing



Job Status: Full-Time



FLSA Status: Salary-Exempt



Reports To: Senior Director of Operations and Integration



Location: Ponca City, OK



Amount of Travel Required: up to 25%



Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5p.m.



Positions Supervised: Power Generation Integration Leads



POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with deep technical expertise in large scale diesel and natural gas generator systems (1.5 MW and above) to lead Power Generation Integration. This role is critical in managing the design, engineering, procurement, and execution of backup and primary power generation projects across industrial, commercial, and utility scale applications.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")




  • Lead and manage end to end project execution for power generation systems, from concept through commissioning.

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for diesel and natural gas generator systems, including paralleling switchgear, load management, and emissions compliance.

  • Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for generator installations.

  • Coordinate with cross functional teams including sales, procurement, field service, and external contractors.

  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk management plans to ensure timely and cost effective delivery.

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new installations or upgrades.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including NFPA, NEC, EPA, and utility interconnection standards.

  • Provide technical support during commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of generator systems.

  • Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, vendors, and clients to ensure high quality project outcomes.

  • Define project scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical specifications.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations.

  • Schedule and facilitate design reviews based on milestones set during project.

  • Ensure design review notes are compiled, vetted for necessity and implemented into scope if required.

  • Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.

  • Assemble and lead a cross functional project team, including mechanical & electrical engineers, designers, technicians, and subcontractors.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
