Job Description

Opportunity Overview

The Senior Director - Process Excellence is an enterprise leader responsible for defining and executing the firm’s process excellence strategy across Process Governance, Process Re-engineering and Process Intelligence. This role operates at the intersection of operational transformation, AI enablement, sourcing/shoring enablement, and the future of work, ensuring end-to-end processes are designed to deliver measurable business value.

What you'll do:
  • Define and lead the enterprise-wide process excellence strategy, integrating process governance, process re-engineering and process intelligence capabilities, influencing executive stakeholders
  • Create conditions for process excellence outcomes in the firm including data and tool enablement, mindset/behavior shifts, talent strategy
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Directors of Process Re-engineering and Process Intelligence
  • Partner with executive leaders to develop Future of Work strategies and multi-year plans to transform the workforce with AI and sourcing/shoring
  • Lead enterprise end-end process transformation leveraging process intelligence and process re-engineering, partnering with executive stakeholders across AI, Human Capital, Sourcing/Shoring, and Business Areas to activate the transformation strategies 
  • Create and govern enterprise process inventory, standards and methodologies for process excellence, also ensuring regulatory and risk requirements
  • Partner with AI, Technology, Business Architecture, and Functional Leaders
  • Align process intelligence insights with re-engineering initiatives
  • Champion AI, automation, and analytics in process design\Define KPIs and value-realization measures

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in process excellence or operational transformation within the Financial Services industry
  • Ability to lead enterprise‑wide process transformation
  • Lead enterprise-wide transformations, which include influencing senior leaders and stakeholders, solving complex problems, and balancing strategy and execution
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and BPM methodologies
  • Expertise in process intelligence, process mining, and analytics
  • Strong capability with Automation, AI, and future-of-work technologies
  • Strong ethical standards with executive level communication and presence
  • Demonstrated leadership in both strategic planning and execution
  • Ability to drive strategic planning and execution at scale
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent preferred

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
