- Engage in active listening with members and program participants to build relationships, understand member's goals and interests, and ensure that each member or guest has a positive experience.
- Conducts tours for potential members.
- Enters member information into computer with accuracy.
- Helps to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Understand and enforce all applicable YMCA policies.
- Operate membership software and all necessary office equipment.
- Assist in the sale of YMCA programs, services and product to members, guests, and participants.
- Assist in handling and resolving member, guest and participant concerns and inform appropriate team member or manager of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
- Responsible for maintaining towels at Member Services.
- Follow all YMCA policy and procedures including Child Abuse Prevention.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Membership Service Coordinator or Membership Director.
