Job Description Summary:

The Account Activation Specialist- On-Premise is responsible for driving new business and accelerating product placement within bars, restaurants, and hospitality accounts. This role focuses on opening new accounts, building strong relationships with decision-makers, and executing strategic brand initiatives to increase visibility and sales. The specialist partners closely with sales teams and suppliers to ensure successful account launches, menu placements, and promotional execution in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

Lead activation of new premise accounts, consumer strategies, and insure the delivery of business goals.

  • Employ strategies that strengthen position to be the wholesaler of choice in the accounts opening.
  • Coordinate with IT and Credit to ensure proper and timely set-up of all new accounts.
  • Act as liaison for new account during set-up process and transition to assigned sales
  • Punch orders for new high-profile accounts during the transition to the assigned sales team
  • Manage and evaluate through Trade Development all promotional spending by account priority with regards to performance and implement corrective business building actions.
  • Organize tasting and sales pitches to new accounts

Facilitate how we source, tag, and engage with all new accounts; a unified Breakthru Beverage approach.

  • Manage the maintenance behind new account channel tagging.

Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public and responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.

Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Planning
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Trade Marketing knowledge of On Sale
  • Proficient in use of social media

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate and operate a computer and telephone.
