Job Description

Job Title: Adult Testing Psychologist

Type: Full-Time


Ascend Mental Health Center is a private practice in Idaho Falls, ID that offers psychiatric medication management services and psychological/neuropsychological testing services. Our medical team consists of 8 psychiatric prescribers and 5 psychiatric medical residents, and our testing team consists of 3 clinical psychologists, 1 doctoral-level school psychologist, and 1 masters-level school psychologist.


We are seeking qualified Psychologists who are passionate about adult testing services and dedicated to helping patients and their families. Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and/or neuropsychological assessments for adult patients.
  • Supervise testing assistants who complete test administration.
  • Interpret standardized psychological, neuropsychological, and educational testing instruments.
  • Provide detailed evaluation reports with specific diagnoses and tailored treatment recommendations.
  • Offer feedback sessions to patients, families, and referring providers to review results and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in psychological assessment and contribute to ongoing program development.


Qualifications


  • PhD or PsyD from an accredited program
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Idaho
  • Experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological and neuropsychological assessments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate assessment findings in reports and feedback sessions.
