Your DAY-TO-DAY as a Senior Human Resources Manager
As a Senior Human Resources Manager at CPT Group, Inc., you will embark on an exciting journey filled with diverse responsibilities. You should expect your day-to-day activities to include developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company values and foster a culture of integrity and respect. You will lead talent acquisition efforts, conduct interviews, onboard new hires, and ensure they feel welcome in our energetic environment. Collaborating with department heads, you will facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee performance and engagement.
Daily interactions with team members will keep you connected and informed about their needs and perspectives. Moreover, you will manage employee relations, addressing concerns with compassion and neutrality. Your expected schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in our relaxed yet high-performance workplace. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience) is essential, along with a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a professional services or regulated environment. Proficiency in HRIS and payroll platforms, preferably iSolved, is a must. Candidates with PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications will have a distinct advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective cross-functional collaboration, while expertise in federal, multi-state, and local employment laws ensures compliance.
Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with project and time management skills, will streamline day-to-day operations. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail will aid in conflict resolution, budget management, and HR data analysis, empowering strategic decision-making. Expertise in change management and discretion in handling sensitive information will solidify your role as a trusted HR leader.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a professional services or regulated environment
