About this Position

A highly technical R&D role focused on developing innovative adhesive products and technologies, leading projects from concept to market, and collaborating across global teams to drive business growth.

What you´ll do

  • Contributes to strategic and tactical planning
  • Identifies and drives new business development activities
  • Supports R&D projects critical to business
  • Supports road mapping of technology/business development
  • Acts as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel BU
  • Generates test plans and/or experiments
  • Participates in site's safety and/or 5S programs
  • Secures IP position in own area of development

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry or equivalent.

  • Willingness to travel.
  • An active team player who can also work on their own initiative.
  • Knowledge and experience of (meth)acrylic adhesive and/or cyanoacrylate adhesive chemistry would be advantageous.
  • Synthetic chemistry, particularly the chemistry of methacrylate-based oligomers.
  • Good digital skills including knowledge of PIA and Albert.
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels e.g. with customers and other functions within Henkel; presentations both internally and externally as appropriate.
