Salary Range Breakdown:
Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW):
$55,000 - $63,000 annually
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW):
$59,000 - $75,000 annually
Compensation is based on relevant experience and licensure status. Additional factors such as specialized certifications or years of practice/experience may influence placement within the range.
- $1,500 Sign on Bonus. First half to be paid on the first pay, second half to be paid after 120 days of employment.

Are you passionate about helping others? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment? We are seeking a clinician to work with youth and families in individual, family, and/or group settings to provide support related to substance use, family communication, acting out/illegal behaviors, trauma, behavioral health concerns, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively within a team and be adaptable to meeting the overall needs of the program.
Responsibilities & Duties for Clinicians:
- Ensures that clients in programming are receiving the necessary clinical care to progress in completion of their treatment goals.
- Functions as a key component of the treatment team, under the supervision of the Program Manager.
- Facilitates and provides direct clinical care in group, family and individual settings while fostering a safe and inclusive treatment environment. Utilizes various therapeutic approaches, emotional regulation techniques and trauma-informed practices in keeping with Growth Works philosophy and as determined by client need. Services may be provided in home, community, or placement settings.
- Completion of proper EMR documentation of the case file including, but not limited to, accurate preparation of treatment plans, discharge summaries, progress notes and biopsychosocial reports.
- Completion of proper documentation necessary for billing and funding requirements.
- Attendance and participation in staff meetings, staff in-services and meetings with community partners, as assigned
- Master the Clinical Competencies to the satisfaction of the Program Manager.
- Addresses personal recovery matters in a manner consistent with the agency’s approach to recovery.
Qualifications for Clinicians:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or another relevant field of study.
- Current holder of State of Michigan license as a Social Worker (LLMSW/LMSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC/LPC). Recent graduates will need to apply for license within 30 days of hire.
- Current holder of Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor (CAADC) or registered development plan with MCBAP to complete certification- if not a holder, will need to register within 60 days of hire.
- Knowledge of co-occurring disorders, trauma, FFT (Functional Family Therapy) and brain development preferred.
- Complete FFT (Function Family Therapy) Training with agency support
- Successful ability to complete agency background screenings and tests
Physical Requirements for Clinicians:
- Must be able to complete manual tasks involving dexterity to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, systems applications, and other office equipment.
- Ability to lift and transport materials/supplies up to 25 lbs. for internal documentation and recordkeeping, court support, and other administrative tasks.
