Description
- Direct and supervise all staff and responsibilities
- Must be able to effectively communicate with staff, volunteers, and parents of program participants
- Requires the ability to supervise, train and evaluate performance of class participants and instructors.
- Must have good organizational and planning skills and sound judgment.
- Aid in member retention by being knowledgeable, caring, and friendly to all members.
- Any administrative duties as needed per program
- Ensure the safety of all participants of the program assigned
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least one-year experience in assigned program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be lifeguard certified.
- Inspect facility for cleanliness; assist with daily pool, locker room, and deck cleaning.
- Test water purity and monitor chemical balance; add chemicals as needed.
- Inspect facility to determine problems prior to opening and closing.
- Complete Aquatic Quick Checks every two hours and Head Lifeguard report every work shift.
- Provide encouragement and feedback for aquatic staff to improve staff performance.
- Develop and enforce pool usage schedules for lap and recreation swimmers.
- Maintain records of safety and chemical checks.
- Complete evaluations on lifeguards and discusses with aquatic leadership
