We are seeking a highly experienced Communications Lead to support the bed-down mission by guiding secure communications, network integration, and classified information system efforts across the Program Integration Office, HQ AFGSC, host wing, and Department of Defense stakeholders. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who brings deep expertise in classified systems, cyber security, network architecture, and compliance, and who can translate technical complexity into mission-ready solutions. If you are driven by secure operations, high-stakes coordination, and meaningful defense support, this position offers the chance to make a direct and lasting impact.

  • Generate reports and technical documentation as requested to support recommendations and leadership decision-making.
  • Develop and implement System Security Plans, including support for security upgrades and emerging higher-level security requirements.
  • Manage and maintain classified information systems in accordance with applicable regulations and mission requirements.
  • Respond to and help resolve classified information systems security incidents.

  • Design, install, and maintain advanced router and firewall configurations used to isolate network traffic and preserve network security.
  • Apply knowledge of DoD and Air Force technology regulations, services, and instructions to ensure communications and computer services comply with applicable guidance.
  • Develop network standard operating procedures and support audits, threat and vulnerability assessments, and use of security-related software tools to manage and control classified information systems.
  • Support management and maintenance of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) infrastructure and chat applications.
  • Assist with network segmentation, information protection domains, and network management tools in support of secure mission operations.
  • Provide expertise in secure network environments involving Multi-Level Secure (MLS) and Special Access Program (SAP) systems.
