Aurora Organic Dairy, a 2025 USA Top Workplace, is seeking a Process Engineer to provide high quality technical expertise for our internal manufacturing sites.
Purpose:
This position is responsible for delivering high quality technical services and support to our internal customers, ensuring that all issues are dealt with in the most effective and satisfactory way. This role shares technical knowledge and hands-on experiences in the mechanics, electronics and automation field by training and performing services on manufacturing equipment in site locations across the United States.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance and equipment reliability testing for processing equipment in our manufacturing locations in the U.S.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance for processing equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic)
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site, virtually and via phone
- Conduct operator & mechanics training in plant on processing operations
- PLC and HMI programming
- Analyzes existing process to identify areas for improvement
- Optimize and improve processing systems to reduce waste e.g., downtime, milk loss, and inefficiencies
- Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with internal customers including support and follow-up
- Coordinate process improvement projects
- Creates and maintain process documentation
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on process improvement initiatives

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in technical engineering
- 1-2 years with minimum experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance in industrial environment
- Automation knowledge
- Programming skills on Siemens Tia Portal, and we will value Step7, RsLogix500, RsLogix5000 and Wonderware Intouch HMI knowledge
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Genuine interest in techniques and customer service with focus on quality

- Availability to travel and work in and outside Spain extensively
- Dairy milk product and equipment technology knowledge will be considered as a plus
Physical Requirements:
Must possess the physical ability to work the entire shift on the plant floor working in a cool, wet environment with temperatures ranging between 34-38 degrees will be a requirement. Standing, walking, climbing, repetitive bending, repetitive stooping, repetitive reaching with arms and repetitive grasping with hands and fingers. Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment working around production machines, warehouse equipment, forklifts, large trucks, and tankers.
