The Camp Hill School District is seeking Substitute Nurses to support school nurses’ offices during the school day in a substitute capacity.  Candidates should hold a valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and have current CPR and First Aid certifications.  Responsibilities include conducting initial assessment of students’ complaints about illnesses at school, in accordance with policy, and completing accident reports as indicated; administering first-aid to students and school personnel, according to district policy and procedures; administering routine treatment of children with chronic on-going illnesses, as prescribed.  Half-day or full day opportunities available based on personal availability.  

This role requires the successful completion of valid background clearances, including State Police, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprinting through the PA Department of Education.  Additionally, a TB Test and Physical will be required prior to the first day of employment. 

Frequent movement including but not limited to walking, stooping, bending, lifting and standing required.
