Job Description

As a intern you would work under the supervision of licensed school psychologists and contribute to a range of services, including assessments, counseling, intervention planning, and collaboration with educators and families.


 


To be considered for the Paid School Psychologist Internship within SPS, applicants must meet the following criteria:


 



  • Be currently enrolled in a NASP-approved or APA-accredited graduate program in School Psychology (Ed.S., Ph.D., or Psy.D. track).

  •  Have successfully completed all required coursework and practicum experiences prior to the internship.

  • Be enrolled in a full-time or part-time supervised experience as required by the applicant’s graduate program and be eligible for internship credit through the university.

  • Pass a criminal background check and meet all district hiring requirements.

  • Adhere to the NASP Principles for Professional Ethics and IDEA guidelines regarding special education services.
