Job Purpose
- Lead the development and execution of AHM’s Power Sports and Products Brand Strategy focused on Licensing, Sponsorships, Brand Ambassadors, and Partnerships in alignment with the BU’s objectives.
- This role will also be responsible for coordination with AHM Auto side counterparts as well as Japan Power Sports and Products teams wherever applicable.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible to develop the yearly strategic prioritization roadmap, tracking tools, and project timelines for Licensing, Sponsorships, Brand Ambassadors, and Partnerships that supports our business plan initiatives and growth plans.
- Responsible for the tracking and reporting of royalty from the associated business relationships in coordination with finance team.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship with each associated business partner.
- Responsible for coordinating related strategies with auto counter parts to ensure alignment where applicable and to maximize collaboration opportunities to increase overall Honda brand value.
- Responsible for coordination with Law and IP team on any related legal contracts for associated business relationships.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Minimum educational qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or, equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum relevant experience:
- 10 or more years of experience with a degree or 10 ~ 12 years related work experience.
- Other Job-Specific Skills :
- Manage multiple schedules and budgets.
- Must have prior demonstrable expertise with licensing requirements
- Self-Motivated
- Interacts and communicates effectively with other associates.
- Good planning, implementation and project management skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to analyze Hondas and competitor’s situation to develop plan to realize business objectives.
- Strong decision-making ability and presentation skills.
Workstyle and Travel requirements
- This is an onsite job. One remote workday per week may be possible with prior departmental approval.
- Travel requirements: May be up to ~ 25% annually. Will be largely domestic with limited international travel to destinations, including but not limited to - Italy, Japan, France, Spain, Canada, Mexico &c. Travel may cover weekends / Holidays.
