About the Role:
The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by expertly preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment. This position requires maintaining a clean and organized bar area while adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. The Bartender will engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Additionally, the role involves managing inventory, handling cash transactions accurately, and collaborating with other team members to support smooth operations. Ultimately, the Bartender contributes to the establishment's reputation for fine dining and outstanding guest service through consistent performance and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift and carry heavy weights safely.
- Strong guest service skills with a professional and groomed appearance.
- Capability to stand for long periods and maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, wine, and beer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask effectively under pressure while maintaining composure.
- Additional training or coursework in hospitality or customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.
- Provide attentive and personalized guest service, responding to inquiries and making recommendations as appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly, following company policies.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple orders while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
