Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing / Pipefitter Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects. This position is responsible for supervising installation teams, coordinating jobsite activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for a working foreman with strong leadership skills and extensive experience installing commercial plumbing systems, hydronic piping, process piping, or mechanical piping systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead crews installing commercial plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems
• Coordinate daily jobsite operations with project managers and superintendents
• Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Plan and organize crew tasks to meet project schedules and milestones
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety procedures
• Monitor quality control and ensure installations meet code requirements
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior mechanics
• Track materials, equipment needs, and labor productivity on site
• Communicate project updates and progress with management teams



Requirements

Required Experience

• Strong experience as a Plumber Foreman, Pipefitter Foreman, or Mechanical Foreman
• Extensive experience installing commercial plumbing systems or mechanical piping systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Proven leadership experience managing field crews and subcontractors
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, mechanical codes, and jobsite safety regulations
• Experience coordinating work on large commercial or industrial construction projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber or Pipefitter license (preferred but not required depending on jurisdiction)
• Experience with hydronic piping, process piping, chilled water systems, or steam systems
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience working with large mechanical contractors
