As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and dependable Instrument Person to join our Survey team at our Middleton/The Villages office immediately.

Job Description
As an Instrument Person, you will play a vital role in supporting our survey field operations. Working alongside a survey crew, you will assist in collecting accurate field data and performing a variety of surveying tasks for both public and private sector projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values precision, and takes pride in contributing to projects that help shape our communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of a survey crew performing field operations for boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys.
  • Assist with the collection of accurate and efficient field data for mapping and design purposes.
  • Operate survey instruments and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Help ensure quality work by maintaining accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain survey equipment and company vehicles in proper working condition.
  • Promote and uphold a safe work environment in all field conditions.
  • Collaborate with crew members and project teams to support successful project completion.
