Internship Disciplines
We are inviting expressions of interest from students completing their 3rd or 4th year in:
- Mechanical Engineering — Structures, mechanisms, thermal systems, propulsion, and vehicle design
- Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering — Electronics design, sensors, actuators, embedded firmware, and power systems
- Software Engineering — Flight software, autonomy, ground control systems, simulation, and tools development
What You Can Expect
- 400 hours of paid (living wage), work experience embedded within our R&D teams

Who We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer Science or Similar.
- Completing your 3rd or 4th year of study by the time of the internship (Nov 2026)
- Genuinely curious about aerospace, robotics, or defence technology
- Proactive problem-solvers. People who are humble, reliable, team-oriented, and respectful.
- Eligible to work and study in New Zealand
