Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Dietitian to support nutritional programs and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple facilities within our region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving health outcomes through proper nutrition and possess strong leadership and communication skills. This role involves regular travel to various sites to provide oversight, training, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support nutrition and dietary services across assigned facilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and Department of Health requirements

  • Conduct regular audits of food service operations and clinical nutrition practices

  • Collaborate with facility administrators, food service managers, and clinical teams to develop and maintain high standards of care

  • Train and mentor facility-level dietitians and dietary staff

  • Assist in developing and updating policies, menus, and nutrition education materials

  • Evaluate patient nutrition needs and provide consultation as needed

  • Participate in quality assurance programs and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required

  • Current [PA] licensure 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical nutrition, with at least 2 year in a leadership or multi-site role

  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations 

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to travel regularly between facilities
