Toyota Financial Services is looking for highly motivated Senior Analysts for various open roles across our analytics teamsThe primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decisions through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights.  Successful candidates will be curious, resourceful, and take initiative to solve complex problems in order to make a tangible impact within the organization and grow their careers within Analytics @ TFS.

What you'll be doing  

  • Uncover business needs to properly frame your analysis. 

  • Leverage SQL/Python/R skills to acquire and organize data. 

  • Discover insights through data exploration, quantitative analysis, and creative problem solving. 

  • Develop solutions to address the opportunities uncovered within your analysis. 

  • Assess the quantitative and qualitative impacts of possible outcomes. 

  • Influence decision making through effective verbal presentation, written communication, and intuitive data visualizations. 

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to help implement and monitor recommended actions. 

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. 

  • Become a subject matter expert within your department by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.

CURRENT OPENINGS

Senior Analyst, Consumer Credit Risk 

  • The Credit Risk team at TFSB (Toyota Financial Savings Bank) utilizes advanced analytics tools to identify, quantify and communicate risk to the Bank Leadership team.​

    Our team’s work is critical to preparing the Bank to support the launch of new business initiatives. We do this by building a range of dashboards monitoring the credit risk KPI’s for both the consumer and commercial portfolios. Those dashboards are consumed by various audiences, ranging from our Executive Management Team, Board of Directors and even Bank Regulators. ​

  • In partnership with Toyota Financial Services, our team keeps an eye to the future so that Toyota can continue to achieve successful growth.​

 

Sr Analyst, Loss Forecasting  

  • The ACL team is responsible for credit loss forecast (Retail, Lease, and Dealer) and communicating the results to the senior leadership, auditors and other downstream stakeholders. 

  • This role will execute Allowance (provision) for Credit Loss (ACL) forecasting process and document SOX controls to ensure forecast accuracy and SOX compliance. Perform root cause analysis on unexpected results. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for potential impacts to the ACL not captured by the model. Summarize and communicate forecast results and drivers to leadership  

What you’ll bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field. 

  • 3+ years of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic, non-intern). 

  • High proficiency and professional experience coding in SQL, Python and/or R (tested during interviews). 

  • High proficiency and professional experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau. 

  • High proficiency and professional experience with data acquisition, data manipulation, data cleaning. 

  • High proficiency and professional experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative and qualitative analysis. 

  • Proficiency with statistics and predictive modelling techniques. 

  • Comfort with presenting ideas virtually or in-person to audiences of various sizes. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others as well as work independently while in a hybrid work environment. 

 

Added bonus if you have 

  • MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field. 

  • Professional work experience in auto financing, consumer lending and/or financial institutions. 

  • Professional work experience in consumer credit risk, business analytics, finance and/or pricing roles.
