Hours: Continental Rotation - 0700-1900/1900-0700

Schedule Example:   

• Week 1 - 0700-1900 - 4 Days (Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat)
• Week 2 - 0700-1900 - 3 Days (Sun, Wed-Thurs)
• Week 3 - 1900-0700 - 4 Days (Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat)
• Week 4 - 1900-0700 - 3 Days (Sun, Wed-Thurs)Note: The schedule remains the same month-to-month   

Pay rate: $30.50/hour

As a Security Supervisor, you’ll guide and support a dedicated security team, ensuring safety across sprawling outdoor grounds, classrooms. You are the “go-to” leader for students, staff, and community partners

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for day to day supervision of the security team
• Utilizing two way radio communication and site specific software, will oversee the tracking and deployment of security professional across the site.
• Monitor numerous systems including fire and life safety, access control and parking.
• Assign reports to security personnel
• Follow direction and requests of Client Service Manager & Supervisors as required.
• Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing college rules and regulations.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
• Dependable resource with knowledge about site services
• Keep records of all key sign sheets, security personnel equipment sign out, parking inquiries, lost and found, and other requirements are all properly documented.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ security experience
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience an asset
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Current First Aid/CPR, Use of Force, and crisis training certifications
• G-class driver’s license (clean abstract)
• Outstanding communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills
• Must not be a current student
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
