Position Summary:



The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations to ensure the efficient and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory, and maintaining safety protocols to ensure a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



 



Job Responsibilities:




  • Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.

  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and productivity.

  • Promote a positive and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate tracking and proper inventory levels.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments to manage stock replenishment and resolve discrepancies.

  • Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping processes.

  • Manage warehouse layout and storage space for optimal efficiency and safety.

  • Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all materials handling equipment is in good working condition.

  • Implement and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace injuries and accidents.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for all staff.

  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, such as stock movement, shipments, and receipts.

  • Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and employee productivity.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.
