As a Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst, you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights that drive performance across purchasing, logistics, inventory, and aircraft component repair. This role is at the center of strategic decision-making—partnering with leadership to uncover cost-saving opportunities, improve processes, and elevate supply chain performance across the organization.

You’ll work hands-on with large, complex datasets, building meaningful dashboards, KPIs, and reports that influence everything from daily operations to long-term planning. Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Power BI is essential, as you’ll be responsible for transforming raw data into clear, compelling insights that drive business outcomes.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:  

  • Develop and maintain key metrics for all aspects of Supply Chain business procedures to set standards for Purchasing, Logistics, Component Repair and Inventory, reduce cost; to include but not limited to: productivity, staffing, logistics, total cost, inventory planning, project dashboards, project and monthly departmental reporting
  • Synthesize large, complex data sets into clear, impactful metrics and reports that will help drive the business
  • Create and maintain various Supply Chain department reports to include Metrics, KPIs, order management, invoice management, cost control, item receipt tracking, and others
  • Work with Supply Chain Leadership in developing and employing sustainable process flows that facilitate quantifiable efficiencies and improvements
  • Review forecasted aircraft maintenance costs to assure proper implementation of cost updates. Work with VP of Engineering and VP of Maintenance on cost planning and execution to fall in line with forecast
  • Facilitate collection, validation and calculation of all Aircraft Sourcing Savings as related to strategic sourcing initiatives. Lead individual project reviews detailing savings opportunities while driving root cause and countermeasure for missed KPIs across the aircraft supply chain
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in from four-year college or university and 7-10 related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in production/manufacturing/supply chain management and KPI development and usage
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, and/or other relational database management systems and structured query languages 
  • Expertise in research methods and report creation, the ability to digest, analyze and communicate large and complex data sets to senior leadership

Skills  

  • Knowledge and experience with procurement/spend systems data and analysis
  • Strong Collaborative Nature
  • Demonstrates high critical thinking, reasoning skills, and strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software systems experience required; RAMCO experience preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL or other structured query languages 
  • PowerBI, Tableau or similar big data analytical platforms as both creator and editor

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Supply Chain-specific certifications preferred (e.g., APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP))
