Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary: $65k-$115k (depending on experience)

The Field Service Engineer I supports the Navy by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT, network, and hardware systems at fielded locations. This role focuses on hands-on technical support, system integration, and sustainment of mission-critical infrastructure across CONUS and OCONUS environments. 

Essential Functions:

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, network equipment, and peripheral systems at field sites. 
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of systems including servers, workstations, and network devices. 
  • Support system integration, upgrades, and deployment activities in accordance with engineering and program requirements. 
  • Execute preventive maintenance and system health checks to ensure operational readiness. 
  • Document field activities, configurations, and issue resolution in accordance with program standards. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, network, and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, including STIGs and system hardening requirements during installations. 
  • Support logistics coordination for equipment, spares, and replacement parts.
