What the Role Delivers
This role leads the North American regional sales and deployment of digital and data products that tangibly impact agricultural supply chains and food waste globally, including a SaaS platform, IoT devices, mobile apps, integration partners and related BI outputs. Food waste is a problem of generational scope impacting greenhouse gas emissions, hunger and nutrition in every region of the world with significant opportunity for digital solutions to provide long-term impact. The successful candidate joins a nimble, collaborative team focused on digital offerings that contribute to the consistent profitable growth of the global organization.
Key Responsibilities - In order of relative importance
Collaborate with account managers and country leads developing a robust digital sales pipeline closing adequate deals to generate budgeted annual recurring revenue
Drive productive account planning, prospecting, system demonstration, client trials and bundled offers, and subscription deal flow in collaboration with commercial and technical teams
Assisting with the initial configuration and implementation of digital products
Collaborate with client success team to deliver user training and documentation and user acceptance plans
Providing close support in the go-live phase and annual account performance reviews
Identify upsell/cross sell opportunities
Understand client processes regarding technology topics and derive related business requirements in alignment with product management
Ensure continuous information exchange with product management about customer specific engineering topics

What the Job Requires
Bachelor�s Degree or Equivalent
Ability to travel overnight up to 33% (depending on home location)
Competency in MS Office/365 and CRM
What to Have Done and Know How to Do
These skills and experiences are highly desirable; however, they do not preclude exceptions based on an individual�s performance history and demonstrated potential.
2+ years of experience in a sales, client success/service or project management role for a technology company or division (preferably SaaS)
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with keen prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
Exceptional interpersonal skills; have the unique ability to talk technical details, ROI/value creation and business strategy in the same conversation
Strong technical aptitude and respect for processes but be adaptable through change
Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
Customer-centric mentality; ability to empathize and build client relationships
Ability to think creatively and be a persistent problem solver
