Job Purpose:

Smith's EMEA Operations hub plays an important part in moving the supply chain of electronic components. From inbound, to testing, storage, and outbound; each stage of order processing brings its own challenges.

Essential Job Duties:  

  • Efficiently process purchase and sales orders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Unload inbound shipments from carriers and verify the accuracy of received goods.

  • Open packages, sort product, and organize items into bins along with accompanying documentation such as waybills and packing lists.

  • Promptly communicate with relevant departments (Quality and Trading) to resolve discrepancies.

  • Create internal and external labels in compliance with customer specifications.

  • Package outbound shipments securely to prevent damage during transit.

  • Adhere to and maintain ESD requirements and other safety policies in all work areas.

  • Collaborate across all Operations' departments per business needs.

Experience:

  • Warehousing experience in quality controls of products.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to lift up to 25kg

  • Knowledge of logistics (freight forwarders) and electronics distribution is a big plus
