Tanque Verde Flea Market is seeking a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our market, from preparation and repairs to final paint application.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve all marketplace facilities, including:
  • Buildings, food stands, seller spaces, offices, warehouses
  • Mobile carts, wagons, rides, and fencing
• Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, sanding, and cleaning
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints using appropriate materials
• Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths and masking techniques
• Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Set up ladders or scaffolding for elevated work
• Create special finishes when needed
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments
• Assist with additional duties as assigned
• Participate in occasional weekend snow removal
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Minimum 4 years of painting or related experience
• Knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to accept constructive feedback
• Professional communication skills
