We are looking for a Director of Water Resources &
Wastewater Engineering to join our team. This person would be
working in their Columbus, OH headquarters office. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in water resources, and
wastewater engineering, specifically within Central Ohio
municipalities, including the City of Columbus and surrounding
areas. Knowledge of the City of Cincinnati and/or City of Cleveland
would also be a plus.
Wastewater Engineering to join our team. This person would be

- Lead the design and management of storm water,
drainage systems, flood mitigation, water and wastewater
systems, treatment plants, pipelines, force mains, pump
stations, and lift stations. - Coordinate and oversee technical design work,
and overall project management, ensuring both technical and
financial success. - Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates,
schedules, permits, and other necessary documents for both
preliminary and final designs. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously,
ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Develop, supervise, train, and mentor
engineering teams to ensure projects meet goals and
deliverables on time and within scope. - Collaborate with the financial team for fee
proposals, project forecasting, reporting, and timely invoicing. - Work with CAD design teams to ensure accurate
and comprehensive technical drawings for each project. - Maintain regular communication with clients and
team members to provide updates, address concerns, and
ensure project milestones are achieved. - Prepare and present project updates, technical
reports, and other documentation to clients, stakeholders,
and senior management.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field of study.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical
experience, including at least 5 years in project
management/team leadership roles. - Licensed PE in the State of Ohio for 3+ years.
- Experience in designing and managing
water/wastewater systems, storm water management, flood
mitigation, drainage design, and treatment plant projects. - Strong leadership, communication, and
interpersonal skills. - Local project experience with municipalities and
agencies such as the City of Columbus, Metropolitan Sewer
District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD), and surrounding areas
is preferred.
