Job Summary

Under supervision, works as a member of the Special Education Resource Team and in partnership with the Resource Specialist and classroom staff to provide designated instructional services to students with exceptional needs who face challenges to their academic and social success with a focus on assisting students to meet required literacy and transition goals; performs related duties as assigned.

Salary Info

Starting salary is $26.43 hour with 5 annual incremental increases to $33.76 plus benefits up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58 for 2-party, $2,044.58 for family (includes medical, dental, life, vision, and TSA options)

An eligibility list is being established for the Special Education Technician – Resource Specialist Program (RSP) position. Candidates on the eligibility list will be considered for full-time, part-time, or limited-term positions while the list is active.

Location
This position is based at El Centro Junior and Senior High School, located within the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility.

In-person work is the industry standard for educational entities such as SCOE. Hybrid telecommuting opportunities may be available depending on job duties and department needs.

Qualified candidates will be invited to complete remotely administered examinations, requiring a computer, webcam, and microphone.
