Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Assists the General Manager with all duties.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Assist the General Manager in planning, organizing and running weekly Executive Board
meetings and General Staff meetings
2. Record minutes for all Executive Board meetings and General Staff meetings
3. Distribute minutes for all meetings before the following meeting
4. Manage finances
5. Communicate with all DJs about University and FCC rules and regulations
6. Assist with strategic planning with Station Manager, Faculty Advisor, General Manager
and Program Director
7. Other duties and/or projects as assigned by the professional staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have prior experience of 1-semester minimum on WDCE Executive Board
• Must possess problem solving and growth mindset with a positive attitude and an
initiative to resolve questions or concerns
• Must work a minimum of 2 office hours per week
• Preferred qualification of a 1-hour (minimum) on-air show
• Must attend all weekly Executive Board meetings and General Staff Meetings (unless
previously-approved absence)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Forms and social media
platforms
• Strong communication and administrative skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Approx. 15-20 hours/week
