Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Young Innovations Commercial Sales and Finance teams. Primarily focusing on serving as a critical advisor to commercial leadership, delivering actionable insights through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. Plays a key role in monitoring commercial performance, evaluating rebate strategies, and identifying risks and opportunities to improve margin and organic growth.

You’ll like this role if:

  • You enjoy problem solving and digging into complexity.
  • You enjoy a fast paced, evolving environment!

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Medium sized company – not too big, not too small – just enough to get things done and see your impact.
  • Did we say benefits? Full medical, dental, vision, 401k, parental leave, paid holidays, paid time off, short & long term disability insurance, employee assistance program, and more!

Who you’ll work with:

  • Reporting structure and who this role will interact with –  Executive leadership, sales, commercial, marketing and more!

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to Commercial General Managers, delivering actionable insights and decision support to optimize revenue growth, pricing strategies, and cost management
  • Own and interpret monthly financial performance, delivering executive-level reporting with clear variance drivers, risks, opportunities, and forward-looking recommendations
  • Lead end-to-end planning processes (budgeting & forecasting) for assigned business segments, driving accountability and alignment with company strategy
  • Oversee rebate programs with ownership of accrual modeling, performance tracking, and margin optimization, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with commercial objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership to evaluate commercial investments (bids, promotions, pricing), influencing profitability and ROI outcomes
  • Deliver advanced analytics and insights to support organic growth initiatives, including customer segmentation, pricing analysis, and sales performance tracking
  • Proactively identify financial and operational risks, recommending and implementing mitigation strategies to improve forecast accuracy and business performance
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining planning and reporting processes through automation, standardization, and adoption of best practices
