Job Summary:

The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing MGX’s marketing strategy and leading internal and external communications that support business growth. This role manages and executes MGX’s marketing infrastructure, messaging, and commercial materials, ensuring alignment between marketing activity, sales enablement, and revenue priorities.

You will partner closely with business development and leadership, manage agency relationships, and own tools such as HubSpot to drive visibility, consistency, and execution discipline across the commercial funnel. This position is an individual contributor who is experienced in general marketing practices.

 Success of this role will be measured by:

  • Clear, consistent MGX brand and commercial messaging adopted across the organization
  • A disciplined, visible commercial pipeline supported by HubSpot and standardized reporting
  • High‑quality sales enablement materials that support new business development
  • Effective coordination and execution of marketing initiatives and agency partnerships
  • Strong alignment between marketing activity, commercial priorities, and revenue growth

 

Essential Functions:

Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Own and evolve MGX’s market positioning, value proposition, and core messaging
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned to commercial priorities
  • Ensure consistent, professional brand representation across all channels and materials

Commercial Enablement

  • Create and maintain sales presentations, proposals, and commercial materials
  • Support new business development with clear, compelling messaging
  • Ensure consistent messaging across customer and prospect interactions

Pipeline & Marketing Infrastructure

  • Own and administer HubSpot and related lead‑tracking tools
  • Design and manage the marketing‑to‑sales funnel and opportunity tracking
  • Provide leadership with visibility into pipeline activity, engagement, and progress

External Communications

  • Oversee website content, digital presence, and industry communications
  • Coordinate thought leadership, case studies, and outbound marketing efforts
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, and consultants

Internal Communications

  • Coordinate communications related to major company initiatives
  • Support leadership messaging and cross‑functional alignment

 

Skills and Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in integrated B2B marketing and communications
  • Experience owning or administering marketing automation or CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar)
  • Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally with sales and senior leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations
  • Demonstrated success supporting B2B sales and lead generation efforts
  • Strong project management skills


Preferred

  • Experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder B2B environments
  • Website content management or basic CMS maintenance experience
  • Advanced PowerPoint or Prezi capability
  • Design sensibility and ability to direct creative resources
