The Senior HR Operations Specialist serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR services, systems, compliance programs, and employee lifecycle processes. This position is responsible for delivering accurate, timely support while ensuring operational efficiency, data integrity, and policy compliance. In addition to day-to-day service delivery, the Senior HR Operations Specialist contributes to factory-focused talent process administration, continuous improvement efforts, special projects, and process enhancements across the HR function.
What You Will Do at Graco
Serve as a primary resource for employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, systems (Workday, Oracle, UKG), and processes, providing accurate and timely information through phone, email, and HR ticketing systems.
Support the HR service desk and phone line, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
Manage and support compliance activities, including I-9 verifications, personnel files, HR practices, EEOC reporting, unemployment claims, court orders, and policy audits and policy change implementations.
Administer core factory talent processes, including the Factory Posting Process and testing required for grade progression.
Process audits, data corrections, and organization updates within Workday.
Support new hire welcome paperwork, onboarding presentations, and performance review tracking.
Administer employee programs such as compensation changes, step progressions, tuition reimbursement, and employee recognition initiatives.
Participate in and support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
Assist HR functional teams with system testing and configuration updates during scheduled HRIS releases and process updates.
What You Will Bring to Graco:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of experience in HR operations or a generalist role with a strong focus on HR processes, systems, and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements, employment laws, and regulatory reporting (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration)
Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a high commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to streamlining or automating routine HR tasks.
Solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to process improvement efforts.
Accelerators
Ability to take initiative/ownership and achieve objectives as required.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday, Oracle, UKG)
Global industrial manufacturing experience and knowledge.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
