What you will do

• You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Chemical Dispensing Machinery and Spec Gas panels and cabinets on site.
• You will ensure gas and chemical supplies are always kept uninterrupted to prevent any tool downtime.
• You will work some of the time with minimal supervision so it’s vital you can use your initiative and have a great work ethic.
• You will also support the fab in any issues regarding chemicals or gases.

What you will need

Essential

• Qualification in an engineering related discipline
• Troubleshooting skills
• Desire to learn & progress within chemical and gas maintenance.
• Experience in working with pressurized pumps or systems.
• Ability to potentially work fixed 12-hour shifts – 7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday)

Desirable

• Chemical awareness and Handling
• Cleanroom experience
• Comprehension of gas and chemical requirements
• Worked previously with Toxic and Highly Flammable gases.
• Experience of leak checking
• IOSHH Training
• A background in Engineering
