In this role, you will drive growth and enhance customer experience, with a strong focus on service sales within the Tissue Business Area. You will represent Valmet’s full tissue offering as the single point of contact for the assigned mill or production lines, ensuring alignment between customer needs and Valmet’s lifecycle solutions. Your location will be Bilbao, Spain.
Your Responsibilities
Manage and book orders within the Tissue Business Unit, ensuring compliance with established sales processes.
Lead and support customer negotiations and contract discussions.
Promote Valmet’s tissue lifecycle solutions, services, upgrades, and optimization offerings, guiding customers toward the most effective and sustainable solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders at customer mills.
Collect and monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels to continuously improve the customer experience.
Handle high-priority requests or escalations and communicate claim progress effectively.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installed base data, tissue technologies, and market trends.
Align with and support corporate-level account management strategies.
Coordinate mill shutdowns, restart schedules, and service planning activities.
Coordinate mill teams or regional hubs to ensure efficient information exchange (e.g., quarterly performance meetings).
Collaborate closely with product managers, field services, automation experts, and spare parts teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Who We Are Looking For
Degree in Paper Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in a similar commercial or technical sales role, preferably within tissue mills or the tissue converting industry.
Strong understanding of tissue production processes, including papermaking, converting, and related digital solutions.
Excellent command of English and Spanish.
Valid driving license.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region to support customers and drive business growth.
