JOB SUMMARY
Calero, the leading technology expense management solution for complex enterprises, is looking for a full-time, detail-oriented Managed Bill Pay Analyst. The primary responsibility of the Managed Bill Pay Analyst is to ensure the timely and accurate payment of accounts on behalf of Calero customers.
Responsibilities:
- Work within a team environment to manage payments on behalf of all assigned Calero customers. This may include both directly processing payments and/or monitoring payments sent to a 3rd party processor.
- Research issues with payments when they occur, ensuring corrective action where necessary, utilizing a variety of payment methods and interfaces.
- Review all payment methods assigned to customer profiles for the possibility of upgrading to credit card payments once per month.
- Assist when needed in reviewing incoming funding for all assigned customers and allocate funding to related invoices pending processing in Calero’s payment system. Use of intermediary accounting skills, including tools like MS Excel will be required.
- Work in concert with all invoice lifecycle touchpoints and Managed Bill Pay Team to ensure SLA metrics are achieved for all assigned Calero Bill Pay customers.
- Complete weekly or monthly assignments in order of priority in cooperation with Senior Management within Managed Bill Pay, or Service Operations Manager and other Business Unit leadership.
- Manage daily payment activity to meet all KPI requirements assigned by direct manager.
- Ensure all payments are executed correctly based on the customer’s approved amounts.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Education:
- Associate degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics or IT preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience and Training:
- 1-3 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment is required
Technical Knowledge:
- (Required) Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel (ability to do V-look up’s, pivot tables etc.)
- Analytical aptitude and logical reasoning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, ability to work independently
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Focused and results-oriented

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.50-$19.55/hr.
