We are seeking an organized and self-motivated Administrative Assistant who will be handling clerical duties, coordinating calendars, and assisting the funeral professionals with day-to-day operations. To be successful in this position you should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Cloverdale Funeral Home

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience.
  • High degree of overall computer proficiency.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Google Docs.

Job Duties

  • Work close alongside Funeral Directors.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments for the business.
  • Composes correspondence as needed.
  • Compiles and reports on statistical data as required by the business or Managing Partner.
  • Inputs data into appropriate systems accurately, completely, and timely.
  • Assist client families with processing necessary paperwork and service coordination.
  • Receives and records payments from client families.
  • Updates and maintains files and related systems for the business.
  • Serves as a backup in other administrative functions as needs dictate; and
  • Other duties as assigned.
