Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services (or designee), the Director of Expanded Learning & Community Schools provides strategic leadership, planning, coordination, and oversight of the District’s Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP), Community Schools initiatives, family engagement systems, and related extended-day/year programs. The Director ensures high-quality, equitable, and compliant programming that supports student academic success, engagement, and whole-child development, while strengthening integrated systems of academic, social-emotional, health, and community-based supports.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience in grades K-8.
A minimum of three (3) years of administrative (site principal) or program leadership experience.
Positive interpersonal skills, professional and personal integrity, and commitment to openness and honesty.
Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with staff, administrators, students, and community members.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in expanded learning, community schools, student services, or family engagement preferred.
Experience in elementary education setting desirable.

Salary Info
$138,608 - $168,397 - Year per year experience granted for public school administration experience toward the anniversary increment. Plus $9,660 cap per year for medical, dental, and vision
