We are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician I to join our team at BKF Engineers!
This position is designed for those with a passion for technology and customer service. The IT Help Desk Technician will provide front-line support for all IT-related issues and support the organization’s technology infrastructure. NOTE: This is a temporary position, anticipated to last six months in duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and deploy computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Assist users with application issues, and guide them in utilizing software effectively.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper software licensing.
- Document, track, and manage support requests in the help desk ticketing system.
- Provide basic IT training to staff on new technologies.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on the resolution of more complex issues.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
