For 70 years, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area. We are currently seeking a full-time Care Team Leader - Life Recovery Program. This person will walk closely alongside clients to help them become self-aware of issues while creating a loving, grace-filled environment for them.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides case management and oversees daily operation of programming for clients in the Life Recovery Program.
- Tracks clients' Care Plan progress through scheduled, weekly one-on-one sessions and data entry into MissionTracker database.
- Ensures complete and accurate data entry into MissionTracker client database for clients assigned to case load.
- Conducts weekly inspections of Life Recovery Program and/or Mental Health Program living quarters and communal spaces to ensure compliance with program guidelines.
- Administers weekly, random urine screenings to clients enrolled in Light of Life's Men's Residential Programs in collaboration with on-site laboratory technician and MRP Care Team.
- Networks with relevant and/or related service providers to access the services needed for clients and ensure delivery.
- Facilitates and develops curriculum for Men's Residential Program groups/classes/
- Has veto authority over any proposed activity that does not follow Light of Life policies and/or is deemed unhealthy or harmful to recovery.
- Exercises input authority into MRP Care Team decisions during weekly continuum of care meetings.
- Exercises communication authority over decisions affecting the policy or procedures of the Life Recovery Program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Model personal responsibility, accountability, timely reporting, and a self-evaluative lifestyle.
Job Criteria:
- Experience Social Worker, Counselor, or Mental Health professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with an in-depth understanding of the professional field.
- Known as competent in the Social Work field.
- Organizes and executes multiple projects and is able to re-prioritize when a new issue arises to ensure a timely response.
- Makes decisions within broad parameters and understands costs and benefits associated with various options for work processes.
- Involves making decisions that affect not only the well being of Light of Life, but also directly the overall reputation of Light of Life, and staff's and client's best interests.
- Requires self-awareness and understanding of applying his/her giftedness to serve others and the community.
- The individual acknowledges his/her need and dependency on God for all things and becomes dedicated to God above all other forces.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field.
- Master's degree and/or licensed counselor preferred.
- Bible training a plus.
- Knowledge from formal and experiential training in drug and alcohol recovery and mental illness.
- Two to four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- HMIS experience and knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
