The Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Administrator to join our Company Secretarial team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman.
The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our Cayman team you will:
- The coordination and scheduling of Board, Committee and Shareholder meetings, across many different time zones
- Drafting agendas for meetings and ensuring efficient preparation and distribution of board packs in a timely and accurate manner
- Following up on outstanding action points
- Maintaining accurate client related records
- Assisting corporate secretarial professionals to ensure client portfolios are compliant with internal policies and procedures
- Generate invoices, respond to queries from clients and service providers act as a channel of communication for the directors and client companies
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- Strong ability to complete tasks while under pressure, in accordance with procedures and instructions to set deadlines
- 1–2 years of experience in a coordination, organising, or scheduling role within a professional services environment
- Will be proficient in all MSOffice and Microsoft applications
- Must be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be able to deal with people at various levels inside and outside the organization.
- Excellent command of the English language is a requirement for the role
- It is a strong preference that the successful candidate will be a college graduate previous experience within the investment funds industry would be an advantage
